The screen resolution is excellent as well as specs. I use GeForce Experience to amend the game settings so it uses exactly what is neeed for the settings of laptop, and so this can also use monitor features.
It also has speaker jack so you can use external speakers.
You will not be disappointed with the features this monitor has.
+Very good color. I have a glass screen IPS Dell S2340M monitor next to it and this is almost as good. I wouldn't do design work on this but its good.
+Minimal design that isn't tacky like the ASUS model.
+Gsync works fine.
-There are some very subtle pixel inversion vertical lines that appear during movement but they're very hard to see and are irregular. I had an ASUS PG278Q with very noticeable inversion lines which I couldn't stand. My old BenQ 144hz and cheap 120hz did not have this, not sure what happened in today's generation of monitors.
-Speakers are shockingly bad. I had used another Acer Ultrawide with beautiful sound so I was stunned how tinny and distant they sound. Asus model does not have speakers
-It's probably overpriced but this is one of the first monitors at this refresh rate so a premium is unfortunately normal for a while.
Also not it can be hard to drive games at this high rate unless they're incredibly optimized, like Overwatch and CSGO.
The monitor itself looks great to me. Pictures of product on site are spot on. I would rather have a more business/simple aesthetic like a rectangle block base, however it is far from shining lights and color accents and large letters. It simply says predator on the bottom middle (slightly cheesy).
The left and right bezel look extremely thin and they are but the actual screen does not go the edge. so triple monitor setups might have a bigger gap than you might think it would from pictures. From outside to where the screen starts is slightly thicker than a piece of trident gum(sorry only thing on hand).
Out of the box it has good colors. I'm no connoisseur on screen color/nits/cdm whatever you measure with but it looks solid, however, for reference I have been using a benQ BL3200 for 2+ years which is IPS and It's noticeable change but negligible(to me). Your mileage/pickiness may vary.
Looking at solid color references no dead pixels. No light bleed like my benq developed over time. So everything Is as I would hope all SKUS would be. It's been an adjustment to move from a 32" to a 24" and a 1440P to 1080P. I wanted speed performance. I am satisfied with what I have.
I could immediately tell when i switched it to 240Hz from my 60Hz monitor. Could I tell the difference between 144hz and 240hz? couldn't say. I doubt it. It feels silky smooth compared to what I am used to. ULMB mode works great. Couln't tell you if it was on or off though. Stays bright enough no matter what.
G-sync mode in the witcher 3, Starcraft2, Overwatch all worked as intended? I guess. I have not had much problem with any of them. They felt fluid and smooth. Tried some other games(borderlands2, Bioshock infinite, isurgency) definitely smoother.
Testing on www.testufo.com/ comes up valid for 240hz. It needs to be the only thing running. fluctuates between 238 and 240 ( so it sometimes says invalid) but it doesn't drop below 230 FPS. Other tests look good. I don't know much about it. probably nothing.
My one concern I have is an intermittent(read: hard to troubleshoot) flash of black during overwatch. As well as once during Witcher3 and once on desktop (not sure if something was running in the backround). lasts about .25 seconds but I just lose every dot of color on the screen then it's back to what it was. What I do know is ...
It happens without warning. Never close to an Alt/Tab window change or backround Pop-up/app.
The monitor is the only change to my system.
It has never happened before this.
It happened with both of my monitors connected and with just the xb252.
Never with just the benQ.
Happened before and after multiple restarts/ power on and offs.
It's happened with multiple settings g-sync on/off. ULMB on/off. Different games settings.
If any rep is watching this I'm welcome to dialougue and suggestions. I would hate to RMA my glorious monitor but I will if It cannot be resolved.
overly harsh? I don't think so. If they advertise such a stellar peformer (which it very well is) I will not tolerate dealing with a quarter second failure every few hours. Not when I have won/lost games missing that much time.
Drivers are up to date for nvidia, windows, game, monitor( I have to assume here. Acer site does not even have a support product page for it. :( seriously acer? registering the product on the support site just says "PRODUCT ******(serial). I get that it's new but send some note down to the webmaster and make a support page for it. I can't even be certain I'm registered. The concern over the flashing black screen has me concerned enough to hold back on how great this monitor really is. I think this a 5/5 monitor but I will not give it that until I find out what is causing the flashes. It has happened about 10ish times in about 30 hours of use. No not consecutive time. It has been on and off plenty. 10 times may seem like nothing but it's almost exclusively during a fast paced game of overwatch. That is exactly what this product is made for. I can't give it a true perfect score until I know it is perfect.
So summing up I would definitely get this monitor. If i did not all ready have it. I dont know if 240hz would be worth whatever $ difference there is over 144hz or having IPS or g-sync. Budgets and needs are all different. If my budget would allow I would go for a larger screen with IPS. For now I mostly play overwatch and I am glad I have this to play it on.

I don't normally write these but I figured I have relied on so many others for reviews and I believe I am one of the first with this monitor to give someone the info they need for a decision.

Lo recomiendo si buscas un monitor especialmente para jugar de manera competitiva.
it is subject to static electricity so you must watch that
static electricity does not kill the monitor just causes a flicker for 1 second
Colour and contrast aren't astounding however they should be sufficient for games and content consumption.
Fit and finish is a bit pro gamer-esq, but still very functional with tilt, height and roll adjustments available.
G-sync at 4k for under 800 makes this a great deal
